Hudson Westbrook age is just 21 years old, but he has already made a big name for himself in the world of country music. He was born on May 21, 2004, and he grew up on a cattle farm in Stephenville, Texas. Life on the farm taught him hard work and simple values, and these things now show clearly in his music. He started singing in high school just for fun, mostly for his mom and close friends. He never really thought he could make a living from it. After high school, he went to Texas Tech University to study and work at a local feed store. At that time, his plan was to become a landman, not a music star. But life had something very different waiting for him.

Everything changed for Hudson in April 2024 when his fiddle player recorded him singing a song called “Take It Slow” and posted it on TikTok. The video got over 2 million views almost overnight, and suddenly people everywhere wanted to hear more from him. Hudson was still a college student at the time, but he knew this was his big chance. He bought a van, a trailer, and sound gear, and went all in on his music dream. He even dropped out of college on stage during a show. His song was recorded for only about $400, which makes his story even more surprising. Within just a few months, he went from having around 8,000 followers to over 150,000, and he headlined Cotton Fest in Lubbock just 70 days after going viral.

Hudson kept the energy going by releasing more songs like “Two Way Drive,” “House Again,” “Sober,” and “Mine Tomorrow.” His hit single “House Again” earned Gold certification and collected over 45 million streams on Spotify. In July 2025, he dropped his debut album called “Texas Forever” with 17 tracks, and it debuted at number 10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. He signed a major deal with Warner Music Nashville and River House Artists. By the end of 2024, he had over 255 million global streams. Billboard named him the 2024 Country Rookie of the Month, SiriusXM picked him as a Highway Find, and Spotify listed him as an Artist to Watch. On social media, Hudson now has over 1.3 million followers on TikTok and hundreds of thousands on Instagram, which shows how fast his fan base is growing.

Outside of music, Hudson keeps his life pretty simple and grounded. He is in a happy relationship with his girlfriend Stormie Goldsmith, and they often share sweet moments together on social media. His music is deeply personal, and songs like “House Again” talk about his parents’ divorce when he was just seven years old. He still loves Texas and wants to stay connected to his roots, even as his career takes him around the country and even to Australia for his 2026 Take Your Time Tour. His main music inspirations include George Strait, Turnpike Troubadours, and Parker McCollum. Hudson Westbrook age may be young, but his talent, his honest voice, and his love for real country music are already making him one of the biggest rising stars in the music industry today.
